Children’s drawings submitted to The Sammi Project gallery

Drawings submitted to The Sammi Project gallery remain the creative property of the child who made them. Wonder: Education Reimagined acquires a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display the drawing on the website gallery as set out in Section 8. Wonder will not use submitted drawings for commercial purposes without separate written consent from the child’s parent or legal guardian.

5. Course Enrolment and Consultations

5.1 DISRUPT and other courses

Enrolment in Wonder: Education Reimagined courses (including DISRUPT) is subject to the following:

  • Course fees are set out on the enrolment page at the time of booking and are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated.
  • Payment is processed securely through Podia’s payment system (Stripe). By enrolling, you agree to Podia’s Terms of Service and Stripe’s Terms of Service.
  • Refund policy: a full refund is available if you withdraw within 7 days of enrolment, provided the course has not yet started. After the course start date, refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis at Wonder’s discretion. As a not-for-profit, Wonder will always seek a fair resolution.
  • Course access is personal to the enrolled individual. Sharing login credentials or course materials with unenrolled persons is not permitted.
  • DISRUPT is a cohort-based course. Participants are expected to engage respectfully with fellow cohort members. Wonder: Education Reimagined reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is disruptive or harmful, without refund.

5.2 Consultations

Free 30-minute consultations with Wonder are offered as a no-obligation introductory conversation. By booking, you acknowledge:

  • This is an introductory conversation — not a commitment to purchase any program or service.
  • Wonder: Education Reimagined reserves the right to decline or reschedule bookings at its discretion.
  • Repeated no-shows without notice may result in loss of access to the free consultation offer.

6. Payments and Financial Transactions

All payments made through this website or linked platforms (Stripe) are processed by third-party payment providers. Wonder: Education Reimagined does not store, view, or process your payment card details directly.

  • All transactions are processed over encrypted HTTPS connections. Please ensure the padlock symbol is visible in your browser before entering any payment information.
  • Payment processors (Stripe) are PCI-DSS compliant. Their respective terms and privacy policies apply to payment data.
  • Prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise stated. Currency conversion fees, if any, are the responsibility of the purchaser.
  • Wonder: Education Reimagined reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time. Price changes do not affect enrolments already confirmed.

7. Third-Party Links and Platforms

This website contains links to third-party websites and platforms including LinkedIn, YouTube, Bilibili, Amazon and other book retailers, The Velvet Cage Substack, and Instagram. These links are provided for convenience.

8. The Sammi Project — Children’s Drawing Gallery

Wonder: Education Reimagined is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party website. Clicking a link to a third-party site means you leave the Wonder: Education Reimagined website and become subject to that site’s own terms and policies. We encourage you to read them before providing any personal data.

Why this section exists

The Sammi Project invites young readers to draw their own ending to the story — a creative response to the prompt: ‘Will you help Sammi and Luke? Draw your ending here in the book.’ This section governs how those drawings are submitted, displayed, and protected.

These terms comply with Singapore’s PDPA 2012 (as amended), the PDPC’s Advisory Guidelines on Children’s Personal Data in the Digital Environment (March 2024), and general principles of child safety in digital environments.

Because this gallery involves children, Wonder: Education Reimagined applies a higher standard of care than for adult user data. Please read this section carefully before submitting.

8.1 Who may submit

Submissions to The Sammi Project gallery must be made by a parent, legal guardian, or teacher acting on behalf of the child. Children may not submit directly through this form.

By submitting, the adult submitter confirms that:

  • They are the parent, legal guardian, or teacher of the child whose drawing is being submitted
  • They have the legal authority to consent on the child’s behalf
  • If acting as a teacher, they have obtained parental or guardian consent before submission

8.2 What may be submitted

Submissions must consist of:

  • A photograph or scan of a drawing made by the child — showing only the drawing, not the child
  • The child’s first name only (no surname)
  • The child’s country (no city, school name, or specific location)
  • An optional short message written by or dictated by the child (maximum 150 characters)

The following may NOT be submitted:

  • Photographs of children (faces, bodies, or any identifiable images of a child)
  • Any image containing the child’s surname, school name, address, or other identifying information
  • Content that is offensive, harmful, or unrelated to The Sammi Project
  • Content created by or featuring adults
  • Content that infringes the copyright of any third party

8.3 Consent and the submission process

Before a submission can be completed, the adult submitter must actively confirm all of the following by ticking the mandatory consent checkbox:

Mandatory consent statement (must be unticked by default — cannot submit without ticking)

☐  I am the parent, legal guardian, or teacher of the child whose drawing I am submitting, and I have the authority to consent on their behalf.

☐  The uploaded image shows only the child’s drawing — not the child or any other person.

☐  I have read Wonder: Education Reimagined’s Privacy Policy and I consent to the drawing and the child’s first name and country being displayed on the Wonder: Education Reimagined website gallery.

☐  I understand that all submissions are reviewed by Wonder: Education Reimagined before publication and may be declined without explanation.

☐  I understand that I may request removal of this submission at any time by emailing hello@wonder-educationreimagined.org, and that the submission will be removed within 7 business days of a valid removal request.

8.4 Moderation

All submissions are reviewed by Wonder: Education Reimagined before they appear in the gallery. We reserve the right to decline any submission without providing a reason. Reasons for rejection may include (but are not limited to):

  • The submission contains an image of a child rather than a drawing only
  • The submission contains identifying information such as a surname, school name, or location
  • The content is not related to The Sammi Project
  • The content is offensive, harmful, or inappropriate
  • The submission appears to have been made without proper parental or guardian consent

Declined submissions will not be published and will be deleted within 30 days of receipt.

8.5 How submitted drawings are used

Approved drawings will be displayed in The Sammi Project gallery on the Wonder: Education Reimagined website alongside the child’s first name and country.

Wonder: Education Reimagined will NOT:

  • Display the child’s surname, school name, age, or any other identifying information
  • Use submitted drawings in commercial materials, marketing campaigns, printed publications, or merchandise without separate written consent from the parent or legal guardian
  • Share submitted drawings with third parties for any purpose other than displaying them on the Wonder: Education Reimagined website
  • Use submitted drawings to train artificial intelligence systems

Wonder: Education Reimagined MAY, with the consent already given through the submission process:

  • Display the drawing in the website gallery
  • Share the gallery page on Wonder: Education Reimagined’s social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram) — showing the gallery as a whole, not singling out individual drawings

8.6 Age and consent thresholds

In accordance with the PDPC’s Advisory Guidelines on Children’s Personal Data in the Digital Environment (March 2024):

  • Children under 13: parental or legal guardian consent is mandatory. Submissions from or on behalf of children under 13 will not be accepted without confirmed parental or guardian consent via the submission form.
  • Children aged 13–17: a parent, guardian, or teacher must still submit on the child’s behalf. The child may contribute to the optional message with the adult’s assistance.
  • Wonder: Education Reimagined treats all submissions to The Sammi Project gallery as involving children under the age of majority and applies parental consent requirements uniformly, regardless of stated age.

8.7 Retention and removal

  • Approved drawings are displayed in the gallery until a removal request is received or the gallery is closed.
  • Declined drawings are deleted within 30 days of rejection.
  • To request removal of an approved submission: email hello@wonder-educationreimagined.org with the subject line ‘Sammi Project Gallery — Removal Request’, the child’s first name, and country. We will remove the submission within 7 business days.
  • Wonder: Education Reimagined does not retain backups of removed submissions beyond 30 days of removal.

8.8 Security of submitted drawings

Wonder: Education Reimagined implements the following measures to protect submitted content:

  • All submissions are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections
  • Submissions are held in a private moderation queue — not publicly visible until approved
  • Access to the submission queue is restricted to Wonder: Education Reimagined’s designated staff
  • Submitted image files are stored on Hostinger’s servers in accordance with Hostinger’s data processing agreement
  • Wonder: Education Reimagined will notify affected submitters in the event of a data breach involving submitted drawings or names, as required by the PDPA
