The Rich Feast

Experiential Learning for All

The Rich Feast is a simulation inspired by Oxfam’s Hunger Banquet. This 120 minute carefully curated event brings together the school community to explore the sensitive and complex topics of poverty, hunger and global citizenship in a safe and nuanced way.

Structured for Depth

The DISRUPT framework guides dialogues, allowing for depth of discussions and recovery of epistemic sight. This experience shifts participants' understanding and interpretation of such issues in profound ways.

Transformative Experience

A deeply engaging and eye opening experience as each person takes on a different identity, sit and eat the foods corresponding to their income groups while sharing stories of how people all over the world are being impacted by the economic decisions and policies in our world.
